Network & Cloud Security Engineer \/ Consultant (m\/f\/d) – Secure+<\/strong><\/p>

Responsibilities<\/strong>
Assess – Security Assessment & Risk Evaluation<\/strong><\/p>

  • Conduct network and cloud security assessments and identify gaps<\/li>
  • Prioritize risks and translate findings into remediation plans and quick wins<\/li><\/ul>


    Implement – Cloud & Network Hardening<\/strong><\/p>

    • Implement and optimize security controls: firewalls, VPN, segmentation, secure access, MFA<\/li>
    • Deliver cloud security hardening: IAM\/least privilege, secure connectivity, logging, encryption baselines<\/li>
    • Validate configurations, manage changes, and create client-ready documentation<\/li><\/ul>


      Operate – Monitoring & Incident Readiness (Detect, Respond, Prove)<\/strong><\/p>

      • Enable monitoring readiness: logging pipelines, SIEM inputs, alert use-cases<\/li>
      • Improve incident readiness: runbooks, escalation paths, audit-ready evidence<\/li>
      • Support troubleshooting and continuous security improvements across network and cloud<\/li><\/ul>


        Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)<\/strong><\/p>

        • 5+ years hands-on experience in Network Security and\/or Cloud Security
          Strong fundamentals: TCP\/IP, DNS, VPN, TLS, security architecture principles<\/li>
        • Experience with security technologies (e.g., firewall platforms, IAM, EDR, logging\/SIEM inputs)<\/li>
        • Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS \/ Azure \/ GCP<\/li>
        • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a structured, ownership-driven approach<\/li>
        • Professional English required; German and\/or Dutch are a strong plus<\/li><\/ul>


          Nice to Have<\/strong><\/p>

          • Certifications: CCNP Security, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, AZ-500, AWS Security, Security+<\/li>
          • Zero Trust \/ ZTNA \/ SASE \/ SSE experience<\/li>
          • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks and audit preparation<\/li>
          • Experience in regulated or complex environments<\/li><\/ul>
