Key Responsibilities<\/strong>
Hiring & Onboarding<\/strong><\/p>

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for internal roles and expert\/partner onboarding<\/li>
  • Improve hiring processes, interview structure, decision-making, and documentation<\/li>
  • Deliver professional onboarding plans and ensure fast, smooth ramp-up<\/li><\/ul>


    HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle<\/strong><\/p>

    • Manage HR administration: contracts coordination, personnel records, HR documentation, offboarding<\/li>
    • Support managers with performance check-ins, feedback cycles, and development plans<\/li>
    • Build scalable HR processes suited for a startup environment<\/li><\/ul>


      Policies, Compliance & Employee Relations<\/strong><\/p>

      • Develop and maintain HR policies, templates, and guidelines (remote work, leave, conduct, etc.)<\/li>
      • Ensure HR compliance under German and\/or Dutch employment practices (with external payroll\/legal partners as needed)<\/li>
      • Handle employee relations topics with a pragmatic, people-first approach<\/li><\/ul>


        Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Coordination<\/strong><\/p>

        • Support salary benchmarking and compensation structure development<\/li>
        • Coordinate with payroll\/accounting providers (DE\/NL), track changes and approvals<\/li>
        • Maintain clean HR reporting and dashboards for leadership<\/li><\/ul>


          Culture & Internal Enablement<\/strong><\/p>

          • Support team culture, internal communication, and leadership routines<\/li>
          • Implement lightweight learning and development practices aligned with business needs<\/li><\/ul>


            Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)<\/strong><\/p>

            • 5+ years HR experience (HR Generalist\/HR Manager\/People Operations), ideally in a startup\/scale-up<\/li>
            • Hands-on recruitment and HR operations experience (end-to-end)<\/li>
            • Strong knowledge of HR processes and documentation standards<\/li>
            • Jurisdiction requirement: working knowledge of German HR practices or Dutch HR practices (ideally both)<\/li>
            • Excellent communication skills and high confidentiality\/integrity<\/li>
            • Professional English required; German and\/or Dutch is a strong plus<\/li>
            • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word (reports, templates, tracking)<\/li><\/ul>


              Nice to Have<\/strong><\/p>

              • Experience working with external payroll providers and cross-border teams (DE\/NL)<\/li>
              • HRIS\/ATS familiarity (e.g., Personio, HiBob, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.)<\/li>
              • Experience supporting contractors, freelancers, and partner networks<\/li>
              • Basic employment-law familiarity (in coordination with legal counsel)<\/li><\/ul>
