General About IProLoop
01. What exactly does IProLoop do?
IProLoop stands for integrative and investigative procurement loop and at the same time describes our approach: integrated, investigative and implementation oriented. Because today, procurement and security require far more than individual measures or isolated decisions. Companies need connected structures, clear processes, reliable transparency and the ability to connect operational requirements with strategic steering. This is exactly where IProLoop comes in.
We support companies in the areas of strategic and operational procurement, network and cloud security, practice-oriented further training, and targeted expert support. In procurement, we support companies in procuring materials and services on behalf of the company or for the company, in direct and indirect procurement as well as in the areas of CAPEX and OPEX, from benchmarking and supply chain analysis through to negotiations. With Procure+, Secure+, the IProLoop Academy and Expert Resourcing, we help companies bridge operational bottlenecks, manage processes more professionally, identify and reduce risks at an early stage, increase transparency, build internal know-how in a targeted way and sustainably strengthen their operational performance.
02. In which countries is IProLoop present and active?
IProLoop is present in Germany, the Netherlands and the USA and supports companies both in these markets and internationally. Depending on the project, collaboration can take place remotely, on-site or in a hybrid format.
03. Which types of companies work with IProLoop?
IProLoop works across industries with companies of different sizes and can support them regardless of sector, both in an advisory and operational capacity. Our services are particularly relevant wherever procurement, supply chain, security or operational execution are business-critical.
Our clients range from small and mid-sized companies with complex supplier structures to larger organizations facing transformation, capacity gaps or cross-functional challenges. We are not limited to specific industries – what matters is whether the challenge fits our service model.
04. For whom are IProLoop’s services designed?
IProLoop supports companies that need more control, better transparency, more reliable processes, operational support and, if required, access to specialists. Our services are particularly relevant for companies with challenges in procurement, supply chain, ERP-related processes, security, resource bottlenecks or cross-functional coordination.
05. What distinguishes IProLoop from a traditional management consultancy?
IProLoop does not only provide recommendations, but also supports concrete implementation, including operational support in procurement on behalf of the company or for the company.
A central difference is our HUB approach: we can act as a strategic and operational interface between companies, suppliers, internal teams and other parties involved in order to noticeably improve coordination, transparency and implementation. In this way, we combine analysis, coordination, implementation and, where required, access to suitable experts.
06. Why does IProLoop describe its services as integrated?
Because business challenges rarely occur in isolation in practice. Procurement, supply chain, systems, security requirements, internal resources, data flows and external partners influence one another.
For us, integrated means that we consider these interrelationships together instead of optimizing only individual sub-areas. This creates better decisions, clearer priorities and more reliable implementation.
07. Why does IProLoop use the term investigative?
What is meant is IProLoop’s investigative approach. We look at the respective loop in detail, analyse processes, suppliers, systems, data flows, controls, responsibilities and operational interrelationships in order to make causes, deviations, weaknesses and risks visible. In this way, clarity is created regarding what is required in order to implement the desired target state in a structured and effective manner.
How IProLoop Works
08. Can IProLoop support both strategy and implementation?
Yes. This is an essential component of our model.
We support companies in clarifying priorities, identifying risks and gaps, defining a suitable approach and then also accompanying implementation, coordination and follow-up. Where required, we complement this with suitable expert support.
09. Does IProLoop only advise, or can you also act on behalf of the client?
IProLoop can do both. Depending on the need, we support companies strategically, operationally or directly in implementation.
This can mean, for example, that we accompany procurement activities, coordinate suppliers, prepare discussions, follow up measures or act as a HUB interface between the parties involved. Our role is based on the agreed scope of services and the client’s requirements.
10. Does IProLoop act as a HUB between clients and suppliers?
Yes. IProLoop can act as a strategic and operational HUB between clients, suppliers, internal teams, systems and other parties involved.
In doing so, we help to better align requirements, communication, responsibilities, schedules and implementation steps. This reduces friction losses and improves transparency and reliability.
11. How does IProLoop typically work with clients?
IProLoop works in a practical, structured and flexible way.
Some clients initially need analysis and clarity, others active coordination, implementation support, training, security reviews or expert profiles. Our cooperation is based on the actual need and can range from consulting to operational support.
12. What does “implementation-oriented” mean at IProLoop?
Implementation-oriented means that IProLoop does not stop at analysis.
We support in translating findings into concrete measures, clarifying responsibilities, aligning stakeholders, accompanying operational steps and effectively following up results. The focus is on actual improvement in day-to-day business.
13. Is IProLoop only relevant for one department?
No. IProLoop is deliberately not aligned to only one single department.
Many challenges affect procurement, supply chain, ERP, IT, security, operations and management at the same time. That is why our approach is cross-functional and aligned to the actual interrelationships in the company.
14. What added value does IProLoop typically create for its clients?
IProLoop typically creates greater transparency, stronger operational steering, clearer responsibilities, better coordination, reduced risks, improved supplier performance, faster access to expertise and more internal know-how.
In addition, we place importance on ensuring that our support is designed not only to fit professionally, but also economically. With predictable Fix models, needs-based Flex models, and a commercially attractive retainer model, companies can choose the form of collaboration that best matches their scope, level of dynamism and operational requirements. Under a retainer model, operational support can be accessed on an ongoing basis whenever needed, providing a reliable extension of the internal function without requiring immediate additional permanent in-house capacity.
The value therefore lies not only in the professional support itself, but also in an economically suitable form of collaboration aligned with the company’s actual requirements.
15. How long does a typical IProLoop engagement last?
Engagement length varies significantly depending on the type of support. A Quick Assessment is a short, structured exercise. Operational procurement or security support typically runs across weeks to months. Expert Resourcing can be project-based or extended based on need. We do not push long retainers by default; the scope is based on what the client actually needs.
Procure+
16. What does Procure+ include?
Procure+ is the IProLoop service area for strategic and operational procurement as well as adjacent supply chain topics.
This includes, among other things, demand and sourcing support, market and supplier analyses, benchmarking, negotiation support, process reviews, supplier coordination, ERP-related procurement support as well as support for direct and indirect procurement in CAPEX and OPEX.
17. Can IProLoop negotiate with suppliers on behalf of the client?
Yes, provided that this is agreed within the framework of the assignment.
IProLoop can prepare, accompany or actively support supplier discussions, for example in commercial alignments, inquiries, benchmarks, negotiations or tender processes. In doing so, we align ourselves with the client’s objectives, quality requirements and governance specifications.
18. Does Procure+ focus exclusively on cost reduction?
No. Procure+ does not only consider cost reduction in procurement, but also security of supply, quality, transparency, supplier performance and process stability.
If desired, IProLoop also supports cost optimization and the reduction of procurement costs, but always within the framework of the company’s defined quality standard and operational requirements. The aim is economically sensible optimization without unnecessary risks to quality, delivery capability or stability.
19. Why does Procure+ offer both fixed and flexible pricing models?
Because procurement and implementation needs can vary greatly depending on the company, project scope, complexity and urgency.
Fixed pricing models create planning certainty for clearly defined scope. Flexible models offer more room when requirements change or additional support needs arise. In this way, the model can be adapted to the client’s actual situation.
Procure+ Quick Assessment
20. What is the Procure+ Quick Assessment?
The Procure+ Quick Assessment is a structured initial review through which IProLoop gains an initial overview of a company’s procurement and sourcing situation.
It serves to identify relevant needs, challenges, potential and fields of action more quickly and to create a sound starting point for the further discussion.
21. When is a Procure+ Quick Assessment useful?
A Procure+ Quick Assessment is particularly useful when a company wants to review more transparency regarding its procurement, improvement potential, operational bottlenecks, supplier topics or support needs in CAPEX or OPEX.
It is also suitable when it first needs to be clarified whether and in what form cooperation with IProLoop would be useful.
22. Which topics are typically covered in the Procure+ Quick Assessment?
Typically, topics such as procurement structure, types of demand, supplier environment, current challenges, process situation, internal resources, priorities, objectives and desired support areas are covered.
Depending on the case, direct and indirect procurement, CAPEX and OPEX topics, ERP relevance or international supplier constellations may also play a role.
23. What information should a company provide for the Procure+ Quick Assessment?
Helpful information includes the current procurement situation, relevant product groups or demands, existing challenges, supplier-related or process-related questions, the desired target picture and the scope of possible support.
A complete audit is not required. The Quick Assessment is deliberately structured in such a way that an initial structured overview is possible with reasonable effort.
24. What does a company receive after the Procure+ Quick Assessment?
After the Quick Assessment, the company receives an initial qualified classification of the situation as well as indications of possible fields of action, support options and sensible next steps.
Depending on the need, this can lead to a more in-depth discussion, a concrete project approach or a suitable support model.
25. Does the Procure+ Quick Assessment replace a full procurement analysis or an audit?
No. The Procure+ Quick Assessment is a structured initial assessment, but not a complete audit and not a final detailed analysis.
It serves to create quick clarity about the initial situation, priorities and potential starting points. If required, a more in-depth analysis can then follow.
Secure+
26. What does Secure+ include?
Secure+ is the IProLoop service area for network and cloud security as well as adjacent topics of operational resilience.
This includes, among other things, security assessments, reviews of access rights and controls, MFA and identity management, backup and recovery readiness, transparency regarding risks, practical hardening as well as the identification of internal weaknesses and external threats.
27. How is Secure+ connected to ERP systems and business processes?
Security does not only concern technology, but also the stability and reliability of business processes.
Business-critical data such as material master data, supplier data, prices, specifications or transactions influence procurement, planning, operations and finance. For this reason, IProLoop does not view security requirements in isolation, but in connection with the company’s actual processes and system flows.
28. Does IProLoop take both internal and external risks into account?
Yes. IProLoop takes both internal weaknesses and external threats into account.
Internal risks can include, for example, unclear authorizations, weak controls, incorrect data processing or insufficient processes. External risks can include cyberattacks, insecure interfaces, vulnerable environments or unauthorized access attempts.
29. How is Secure+ pricing determined?
Secure+ pricing is determined on the basis of the client’s requirements, the existing infrastructure and the scope of services.
Relevant factors may include, among other things, the number and type of systems, cloud, hybrid or on-premise environments, the required support level, the complexity of the security landscape as well as the required depth of analysis or implementation. This results in a tailored pricing model instead of a flat standard fee.
Secure+ Quick Assessment
30. What is the Secure+ Quick Assessment?
The Secure+ Quick Assessment is a structured initial review through which IProLoop gains an initial overview of a company’s security situation, system environment and possible areas of risk or weakness.
It serves to make relevant security needs, priorities and potential fields of action visible at an early stage.
31. When is a Secure+ Quick Assessment useful?
A Secure+ Quick Assessment is useful when a company wants to gain an initial overview of network and cloud security risks, security gaps, access topics, backup and recovery readiness, MFA status or general security maturity.
It is also helpful when, before a more in-depth security measure, a structured initial assessment is first needed.
32. Which topics are typically covered in the Secure+ Quick Assessment?
Typically, topics such as system landscape, network and cloud environment, access and authorization situation, security controls, identity and MFA topics, backup and recovery readiness, critical systems, current challenges and desired protection objectives are covered.
Depending on the situation, ERP-related security aspects, remote access, interfaces or operational resilience may also be taken into account.
33. What information should a company provide for the Secure+ Quick Assessment?
Helpful information includes general information about the existing infrastructure, the security solutions used, critical systems, current challenges and the areas in which more transparency or support is desired.
The same applies here: a full security audit is not required. The Quick Assessment is designed as a structured and pragmatic initial assessment.
34. What does a company receive after the Secure+ Quick Assessment?
After the Quick Assessment, the company receives an initial classification of possible security and priority areas as well as indications of which topics should be examined in more depth or addressed in a structured manner.
This creates a basis for further decisions, measures or a suitable Secure+ support model.
35. Does the Secure+ Quick Assessment replace a full security audit or a penetration test?
No. The Secure+ Quick Assessment replaces neither a full security audit nor a penetration test.
It is a structured initial assessment that helps to identify priorities, risks and sensible next steps. Technical in-depth reviews can then be carried out separately if required.
36. Are the Procure+ Quick Assessment and Secure+ Quick Assessment binding?
The Quick Assessments primarily serve the purpose of structured initial assessment and a better classification of support needs.
They create a sound basis for discussion without already requiring a comprehensive project commitment. The further scope depends on the actual need and the subsequent coordination.
37. Why are the Quick Assessments useful for companies?
Because they create an initial qualified overview with manageable effort.
Companies gain clarity more quickly about where relevant challenges, risks, priorities or potential lie and which next steps may be useful. This improves the basis for decision-making and facilitates a structured start to possible improvement or support measures.
IProLoop Academy
38. What is the IProLoop Academy?
The IProLoop Academy is IProLoop’s further training and qualification area for procurement, supply chain and ERP-related processes.
It supports companies in building internal knowledge, developing teams further in a practical way and strengthening competencies that are directly needed in strategic and operational day-to-day work. This also includes onboarding support and key user training in order to prepare employees specifically for processes, systems and tasks.
39. Why does IProLoop combine services with training?
Because sustainable improvements do not arise only through external support, but above all through the people in the company.
By combining services with training, onboarding and key user training, IProLoop helps companies to build knowledge internally, strengthen personal responsibility, reduce dependencies and anchor improvements in everyday work over the long term.
40. Does IProLoop also offer training for procurement teams?
Yes. The IProLoop Academy offers CIPS-aligned procurement training from Level 2 through to Level 6, delivered online and in classroom format. It is designed for both individual professionals and corporate teams looking to build structured, practical procurement capability. Expert Resourcing
41. What is meant by expert resources?
Expert Resourcing is the IProLoop model through which companies can quickly access suitable specialists.
Depending on the need, this can include experts from the areas of procurement, supply chain, ERP as well as network and cloud security. The aim is to complement internal know-how in a targeted manner, advance projects more quickly and bridge capacity bottlenecks efficiently.
42. When would a client use Expert Resourcing?
A client typically uses Expert Resourcing when specialized expertise is lacking internally, additional project capacities are needed or implementation needs to start at short notice.
In addition, it is particularly useful in transition phases, during company growth, operational bottlenecks or transformation projects in which experienced support is needed without having to accept long recruitment cycles.
43. Is expert resource management the same as recruitment?
No. Expert Resourcing is not traditional recruitment. It is a practice-oriented support model in which IProLoop identifies, pre-qualifies and aligns suitable specialists to concrete project and implementation requirements. The focus is on effective support and concrete delivery, not only on filling a position.
44. How does IProLoop ensure the quality of its expert resources?
Every expert in the IProLoop pool goes through a structured validation process before being made available to clients. This includes a review of hands-on delivery experience, a competency assessment and a validation step to confirm practical fit for live business environments. We do not simply match CVs to job descriptions; we deploy people we have qualified ourselves and are prepared to represent in front of a client.
45. How quickly can IProLoop get started on an assignment?
This depends on the scope, but IProLoop is built for operational speed. For Quick Assessments, we can typically begin within days of initial alignment. For Expert Resourcing, our pre-validated pool means we can often move faster than a traditional recruitment cycle. For larger project engagements, we align scope and starting point in the initial discussions.
Getting Started
46. Why should a client choose IProLoop, and how can they get started?
IProLoop combines integrated business understanding, investigative analysis, operational thinking, practical implementation and, where needed, targeted specialist support within one connected model.
This means clients receive more than recommendations alone. They also gain, where required, hands-on support with coordination, implementation, enablement and the role of a strategic and operational interface between internal and external stakeholders.
Getting started is simple. Clients can complete the intake form via our website contact page or reach out directly to info@iproloop.com. From there, we arrange a short initial conversation to understand the situation, answer any questions and determine whether and how IProLoop can provide value. The initial discussion is non-binding.
