Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Finance Manager to join our team.
This position will be based in Roermond, Netherlands and will focus on Investor Relations and International Accounts Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with expertise in managing investor relations, international accounts, and financial strategies for a rapidly growing startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Investor Relations Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions. Prepare and deliver investor reports, financial statements, and forecasts that align with IProLoop’s strategic vision and goals.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage the company’s financial planning processes. Monitor the financial performance of IProLoop, providing insights and recommendations to the senior management team.
- Accounts Management: Oversee the financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, international transactions, and currency management. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and compliance with international accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, provide financial forecasts, and conduct variance analysis. Work closely with other departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
- Strategic Financial Decision Making: Support Chief-and Director-Level leadership in making informed financial decisions by providing detailed analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws, particularly for international operations. Prepare and manage audits and regulatory filings.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including those related to foreign exchange, investment portfolios, and financial markets.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Regional Finance Manager, Sales, Business Development, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of financial strategies with business growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in finance management, with a focus on Investor Relations and International Accounts Management.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage investor relationships and effectively communicate financial performance to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with international accounting standards and experience managing accounts across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives, investors, and financial partners.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel, to prepare data for IProLoop’s upcoming ERP selection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA is a plus).
- Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, Spanish) are a plus.
- Experience working in a start-up environment is highly desirable.
